My name is Aoife Curran and I am running to become Senator for the Department of Social Sciences. I am going into my second year studying Social Care Practice. During the year I have worked closely with the Vice President for Wellbeing and Engagement elect of the college and have assisted with their campaign, because of this I feel that I already have an insight into what it is to work alongside the Student’s Union and Student Representatives. I am an approachable and caring person and so I feel that I would be able to efficiently represent the Department of Social Sciences as a senator. I look forward to being able to voice any opinions or concerns by working closely with both Class Representatives and students within the Social Science department.
